Canvas prints are stretched and stapled over a stretcher bar (small wood frame) in order to be displayed. A regular stretch is stapled on the sides and is then ready for framing in a wooden frame. In a gallery wrap canvas the image wraps around the sides and is stretched over a bar that is deeper and is stapled on the backside of the stretcher.
